Fresh off my long flight to Hong Kong, I was honoured to represent Weber Shandwick Australia at the Asia Pacific SABRE Awards on Wednesday night – and just made it through the door to hear the announcement of one of our wins. Our Asia Pacific office won six gongs at this year’s regional awards, held at Hong Kong’s very ritzy Island Shangri-La Hotel.

Weber Shandwick Australia was well represented, picking up three awards for our work on Australia’s Future Submarines, Nespresso Milk Expertise and Covidien’s VTE Awareness campaigns. Our work with Covidien was also recognised with a Certificate of Excellence in another category, as was our campaign with ibis Hotels.

The awards are a testament to the quality of work and the innovative solutions the team continues to produce for our clients. I am looking forward to tucking the trophies in my carry-on to share with the team over a glass of champagne. Congratulations to all involved!
